Predators think that's gross, so they leave them alone! That wouldn't work on Dell, though. It's lucky that Dell is a friend to all caterpillars.

Luc says they're mimics... they look like flowers to hunt their prey, and also to hide from predators. Even the Codex Mistria has an entry about them!

I'm not sure why these beetles adorn themselves with little flowers. Camouflage, maybe? Miss Celine called it cute! Not a very scientific observation, but it is true.

	Copper Nugget Beetle	The Upper Mines (floors 1 - 19)	All Day (6AM - 2AM)	Any	Uncommon	I was so excited when I saw the Copper Nugget Beetle at the museum, [Player]! I'm not allowed in the Mines, so it was my first time seeing one! It's true... they do look like copper nuggets!
	Lantern Moth				Common	I felt such an unexpected fondness when you donated the Lantern Moth you found in the Mines. They look quite humble, but if you were ever lost in the dark, well... Nothing's quite as welcome as a single fluttering moth leading you back to light.
	Mine Cricket				Rare	I was over at the museum and saw that Mine Cricket! I bet it plays a pretty little tune. The acoustics down there must be killer.
	Tunnel Millipede				Common	There was a Tunnel Millipede at the museum! Luc said they're very good at burrowing, so I floated a plan for an elite tunneling team made up of trained centipedes... Errol didn't go for it.
	Worm				Common	Let me get this straight, [Player]. You gave a Worm to the museum? And Errol took it? And now it's on display? This town's gone crazy since you arrived.

	Hermit Snail				Uncommon	Y'know, [Player], that Hermit Snail at the museum makes me think of Mister Balor. He also pulls his home around with him!
	Puddle Spider				Common	The Puddle Spider at the museum is a wonderful specimen, [Player]. Did you get to see it hunt? According to my insect handbook, they watch for ripples on the surface of a puddle. A very unique way of catching prey!
	Sea Scarab				Rare	Wow, I've never seen a Sea Scarab before the one at the museum! I wonder why its carapace is that pretty blue color? Is it trying to impress someone? Well, I'm impressed.
	Waterfly				Common	The museum got a Waterfly into their collection! Was that you, [Player]? It's so interesting that they glow blue like that!

	Crystalline Cricket				Uncommon	Olric came in here the other day, asking me to teach him how to sing. He heard that Crystalline Cricket at the museum sings to stones, and now he wants to do it too!
	Deep Earthworm				Common	I saw that Deep Earthworm at the museum. I've got admiration for any creature that works the soil. Keep it up, little guy!
	Gem Shard Caterpillar				Uncommon	The Gem Shard Caterpillar at the museum looks so unusual! I wonder what it looks like after it undergoes metamorphosis.
	Rock Roach				Common	Between you and me, [Player]... that Rock Roach at the museum... isn't it kind of adorable? Luc will be delighted, he's always asking what my favorite insect is!

We encourage inquisitive minds here!
