Iron Armor

Iron Armors are a type of Torso Slot Armor in Fields of Mistria. Iron Armors provide 4 defense.

The cosmetic form of the Iron Armor is the Iron Chestpiece, which is unlocked the first time The Player equips one.
Aside from their use as Equipment, Iron Armors can also be used to complete certain Quests.

How to Obtain

Iron Armors can be crafted through Blacksmithing for the price of 4 Iron Ingots (starting at 12) via the Anvil in front of The Blacksmith's forge.

When crafting, it is possible for Iron Armors to receive one of the following infusions:

• Fortified: grants an additional 4 when worn. Requires the Fortified Blacksmithing Skill.
• Hasty: increases player movement speed by 4%. Requires the Hasty Blacksmithing Skill.
• Tireless: Base Stamina is increased by +4 when worn. Requires the Tireless Blacksmithing Skill.

Infusion Chance

If the required Skill Perk is enabled, the chances of getting any one infusion is 15%.

• If the Empowered I Skill is unlocked, this chance rises to 20%.
• If the Empowered II Skill is unlocked, this chance rises to ?%.

Crafting Time Reductions

It is possible to reduce the crafting time of the Iron Armor with certain Skill Perks.

• Time Sensitive I Skill: reduces the crafting time of all blacksmithing recipes by 10 minutes. New crafting time: 40m
• Time Sensitive II Skill: reduces the crafting time by an additional 10 minutes for a total of 20 minutes. New crafting time: 30m
• Time Sensitive III Skill: reduces the crafting time by an additional 10 minutes for a total of 30 minutes. New crafting time: 20m
• Time Sensitive IV Skill: reduces the crafting time by an additional 10 minutes for a total of 40 minutes. New crafting time: 10m
