Mining

Mining is a skill used to break rocks and boulders around town, as well as mineral nodes found in The Mines.

Mines Access

The Mines were closed down due to an earthquake that had hit Mistria. The Player will receive a letter in the mail from Eiland asking for their help in convincing Errol to re-open the mines. Errol reluctantly agrees with the caveat that the town has to reach Town Rank Level 10, Stone, before The Mines will be unlocked.

Mining Skill Perks

The Mining skill can be increased by using a  pickaxe to break rocks, boulders, and mineral nodes. At a minimum, a Copper Pickaxe is needed to break boulders.

Trading in collected Essence at The Dragon Statue in The Mines allows the Player to gain bonuses to their mining skill.

Tier 1 (Lvl 1)

	Earth Breaker	Breaking a Rock in the Mines will occasionally destroy all other Rocks in a 1x3 area around it.	20
	Ore-riginal	Biome-Specific Ore will sometimes drop from Breaking Rocks in the Mines.	25
	Reclaimer	Biome-Specific Furniture will sometimes drop from Treasure Chests in the Mines.	15
	Treasure Hunter	Treasure Floors will sometimes appear in the Mines.	20

Tier 2 (Lvl 15)
Skill Perk		Description	Cost
	Iron Hound	Breaking an Iron Node will occasionally drop an extra piece of Iron.	50
	True Blue	Breaking a Sapphire Node will occasionally drop an extra Sapphire.	45
	Treasured	Treasure Chests will become more likely to appear in the Mines.	45
	Mine Time	Movement speed will increase for 10 seconds when you first enter a new Floor.	50

Tier 3 (Lvl 30)

	Resonance	Defeating an enemy can break a nearby rock.	75
	Earth Breaker II	Breaking a Rock in the Mines will occasionally destroy all other Rocks in a 1x3 area around it and is now more likely to occur.	80
	Silver Seeker	Breaking a Silver Node will occasionally drop an extra piece of Silver.	85
	Fantastic Finds	You can no longer find Wooden Treasure Chests, and you are now more likely to find a higher tier of Treasure Chests.	80

Tier 4 (Lvl 45)
Skill Perk		Description	Cost
	Lost to History	Ritual Chamber Floors will sometimes appear in the Mines.	155
	Good as Gold	Breaking a Gold Node will occasionally drop an extra piece of Gold.	150
	Refine Rockery	The Craft Time for all Stone Refinery recipes will be reduced by 10 minutes.	150
	Break One, Get Two	Crafting a recipe at the Stone Refinery will sometimes create a bonus crafted item.	155
