Snails are a type of bug that can uncommonly be found in The Overworld during the whole day (
6AM - 2AM) in 
Spring while there are Any weather conditions.
Snails can be given as a gift. However, Snails are Universally Disliked except by
Dell (Likes),
Dozy (Neutral), 
Henrietta (Neutral), 
Luc (Neutral) , and 
Merri (Hates).
Snails are also used for certain
Quests.
