Drop
Drop
Saplings are monsters encountered in The Mines. Their colors and attacks change throughout the Floors/Mine Biomes.
Strategy
This monster strikes with a melee attack only. The sapling will launch itself at you, and upon landing it will be stunned for a few seconds. The best time to attack is while it is stunned.
Variations in Strategy
Upon landing, produces an AoE puddle. Walking in the puddle will slow your movement speed. However, if you have unlocked the
Quick Footed Skill, the puddle will increase your movement speed instead.
Upon defeat, the Orange Sapling will split into 2 miniature versions of itself. They will have less health and deal less damage.
