Basil can be grown from  Basil Seeds or rarely found as a forageable during  Summer .

Basil can be bought from Balor's Wagon (after reaching  Summer) for 120t.
Pets also have a chance of collecting Basil when completing the Pet Job "Collect Forageables" (during  Summer only).

Basil can be used in Woodcrafting and Cooking recipes, donated to The Museum's Flora Wing, or given as a gift.

  •  Living Off The Land: Harvesting a crop will occasionally drop a cooked dish that uses the crop.
  •  Prize Winning: Harvesting crops will occasionally drop coins based on 5% of their selling price.
  •  Sickle Sword: You can now use your sword to harvest crops quickly.
  •  Ornamental: Harvesting a crop or forageable will sometimes drop a recipe teaching you how to make an ornamental furniture version of the plant.
