Valen is one of the many villagers in Fields of Mistria, and is a marriage candidate.
She works at the Clinic, which has been owned by her family for generations[1]. Valen displays an informal, friendly approach to her profession as she insists that the player call her Valen instead of Doctor.
When you faint in the Mines, it is Valen who revives you and tells you off after you wake up in her Clinic. There is no service fee, however there are other consequence from fainting.
She sell Syrups in her Clinic that give a variety of buffs.

- Valen was first revealed on the Fields of Mistria website on May 25th, 2021.
- Valen comes from a family of long-line generations of doctors. In theory, the name "Valen" might be referencing the famous physician Galen.
- If you date Valen, she will sometimes give various gifts, including the potions she sells at her clinic, cooked dishes, and 1000 Tesserae.
