The Farm
The Farm is a plot of farmland belonging to The Player, and serves as The Player's place of residence. The Farm is located to the south of Mistria, a town where many of the non-player characters reside.
The Farm is given to The Player at the beginning of the game by Adeline after the former answers a request posted to the Adventurer's Guild looking for a "capable adventurer"[1]. In exchange, The Player is to help aid in the towns restoration after a destructive earthquake. This includes taking on various requests and improving the Town Rank to help regain Mistria's former
Renown.
The Farm can be renamed at any time through the Character Customization screen located within the Journal menu.
A Shipping Bin and Mailbox are located to the left and right of The Farmhouse, respectively.
Connections
Buildings, Structures, and Furniture
Buildings
Buildings on The Farm include:
The Farmhouse can not (currently) be moved, however both Barns and Coops can be moved by first removing the building (through their menu when interacting with the building), then placing the blueprint in a new location and rebuilding the building.
Furniture
Furniture and other decorative items can be placed inside the Farmhouse, as well as outside on The Farm.
To remove a Furniture item, The Player needs to hit the item with their
Pickaxe, the item will then drop and is able to be picked up by The Player.
The Shipping Bin is also able to be moved this way.
Caldarus' Shrine
Caldarus and his shrine can be found on The Farm, to the east of the Farmhouse. The statue of Caldarus is uncovered and fixed on Year 1,
2 Spring through the combined effort of The Player and
Eiland, leading to the reawakening of
Caldarus after an unknown number of years.
Caldarus' Shrine can be used to unlock skill perks from Year 1,
3 Spring, onward.
Crops
The Player can plant and grow crops and flowers on The Farm's farmable or tillable land, identifiable by dirt patches. Farmable land can be created or covered up with non-farmable grass patches using the Shovel tool. Dirt patches must be tilled using the
Hoe first before The Player can put down any seeds.
Debris
Debris such as Grass,
Rocks, and
Wood will naturally spawn on The Player's farm over time and must be cleared using various The Player's
Sword,
Pickaxe, and
Axe respectively. Non-fruit Trees will also spawn in a similar manner, and can again be removed with The Player's
Axe.
This debris seems to be non-destructive and will not interfere with the growth of crops, though it may spawn on farmable land, taking up space meant for crops if not cleared.
Debris will however get in the way of constructing or moving buildings such as Barns and Coops, placing furniture or other decorative items, and the planting of Fruit Tree Saplings.
Debris spawning can be reduced by unlocking the Deliberate Debris Skill.

Artifacts
Note: If the Former Farmers Skill is not enabled, no
Dig Spots will spawn on The Farm.
